Zoo Camp
Discover the Secrets of Nature – Our Special Zoo Camp Awaits You!
This summer, we once again welcome primary school children to the Debrecen Zoo’s summer day camp. With nearly four decades of tradition behind it—yet renewed every year—our camp offers exciting experiences for young nature lovers.
Under the guidance of qualified zoo educators, campers can take part in experiential and zoopedagogical activities that provide a unique behind-the-scenes look into the world of the zoo. Children can try out animal keeper tasks, help feed lions and tigers, participate in feed preparation, examine bird feathers, and enjoy many other special programs.
Topics such as responsible animal care, courage challenges, creative craft workshops, and the exploration of botanical treasures all help children expand their knowledge through play and experience-based learning.
At the end of the week, the amusement park rides provide well-deserved fun and relaxation.
The camp runs from Monday to Friday and includes three meals per day. We guarantee unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
